March scrapbook club projects

One of my favorite paper packs from this Spring/Summer Idea Book is Chantilly.  We made a simple but pretty layout using Chantilly (X7163B) and had fun custom coloring our Color-Ready Seam Binding ribbon (Z1732) with the new alcohol markers (Cotton Candy Z2417).  These markers color the ribbon evenly and dry very quickly.  Now you can make ribbon for each color you need!  The Just for You stamp set (B1398) creates a simple focal point sure to not distract from your photos.  The Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge is cuts the flower out for easy stamping.  Each layout of the flower is popped with Foam Tape (Z1151) and a couple clear sparkles (Z1752) give added dimension.
Do you have an athlete in your family?  The Game On stamp set (D1517) is for you!  This set contains not only soccer images but basketball, football, tennis, and baseball too with perfect sayings. Lynn Como created this awsome layout I found on Pinterest that I knew would work perfectly with this stamp set. White buttons threaded with Outdoor Denim Baker's Twine (found in Harvest Assortment Z1751) and popping the title block up with Foam Tape balance it out just right.

A quick, easy card with the Chantilly paper pack, Chantilly Textiles (Z1819) and Frame Flair (D1546) and the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge round out the club workshop.  The Textiles are easy to apply even with your Tombow adhesive (1514) and they're easier to cut in banner shapes than paper since folding them in half doesn't create a crease.  A little coloring with our markers and a Pearl Opaque (Z1336) finish it off.

See y'all next month when we create a boy layout with the Tommy paper pack and a girl layout with the Claire paper pack.  More Cricut cuts too!!  :o)
